    Simplicity = Low

    Utility = Medium

    Value = Medium

    Overall = 3.0 at $20.99 or less.

    Difficult to prepare for daily use making simplicity low. Two battery packs operate the device, one in front for white LED light and other at back for red LED light. Charging requires pulling each pack out from a small pouch with their power cable attached, rotating it for access, then plugging in your USB charger. Reverse process needed to put system back together. Each cycle stresses the power cables between the batteries and the lights they power. This is time consuming, error prone, and reducing the life of the product.

    Utility is medium. Effort with charging minimizes using this feature and receiving their full safety benefits. If the lights are used daily, the charge process will eventually damage the internal power cables. A simple redesign of the charging port locations would solve these issues and make this a most useful device.

    Value is medium at $20.99.

    I bought this product to use for my walks/jogs at night while wearing my weight vest.
    It fits easily over my vest without me having to finagle it a bunch, which is something I was worried about initially.
    It has a few different settings. A solid white light, and then a couple of different strobe settings, including a red strobe.
    It’s kind of weird because you can charge it from either side (front and back) . At first I thought I would have to charge it twice but this doesn’t seem to be the case.
    I’ve been using it for a a few weeks and the durability seems solid.
    Overall I would recommend for anyone needing a little bit ( or a lotta bit) of extra visibility, who doesn’t want to spend a bunch of money on similar products.
    10/10 would recommend.

    Ok, I really like this item!

    First off, I’m a runner. Been running half marathons for the past five years and I really enjoy it. Running has become a staple of my weekly, if not daily, workouts. So you’re not gonna sell me on anything bulky, floppy or cumbersome. This isn’t that. This is a simple, high visibility, easy to use running “vest” (really more of a strap over, but I think the word vest conveys the idea better). Adjustable shoulder straps to fit this high or low on your body depending on your liking, plus the elastic waste band also adjusts. Two plastic clips are in the front, so it’s easy to put on. Slide the shoulder straps over your head (like you’re putting on a t-shirt), then wrap the side straps around your waist and clip in. Done!

    The vest itself is high visibility enough, but it also comes with white headlights in the front and red taillights for the rear. Personally, I really like this. Let’s drivers/etc easily know from a distance if you’re coming or going. Simple independent “on/off” push buttons for both the front and rear lights and four light modes on each: fast flashing, slow flashing, solid on and off. I prefer the simple solid on or off, myself, but you’ll figure that out on your own. Comes with a charging USB cord. Quick and easy to charge. Takes about 20-30 minutes to charge per side (front/rear). As far as battery life goes, they last! I charged this up, turned it on and layed it on my workbench to test while I built a project. Rear red lights lasted for 90 minutes, but the front white lights stayed lit for almost 4 hours!! Not sure how much running you are gonna do in the dark, but this FAR exceeds anything I’m gonna tackle.

    Ok, my gripe……only complaint I’ll make is that A: the USB charge cord should come with the wall socket plug as well and B: it should come with two charging cords, not just one. The front white lights and rear red lights are completely independent. So, you’re either charging each one independently (one at a time) which doubles your charging time, or you have to use a second cord (like I did in my pictures). Again, this is a minor gripe.

    All in all, I really like this vest, have enjoyed using it and will continue to do so. It’s quick, simple, really does make you visible and fits easily over anything you could be wearing (t-shirt, sweatshirt, raincoat, snow jacket). This is a solid win in my book!

    Got this to help keep us safe when I walk my dog on our neighborhood streets outside of daylight hours.

    Overall this is a decently priced and very workable solution for people who are looking for something like this. I especially liked how adjustable the sizing was, which makes it easier to put on even over bulky outerwear for winter use.

    But there are some drawbacks:

    – Both charging ports are micro-USB, not the now nearly-universal USB-C. This is an odd and disappointing choice in 2023 as micro-USB continues to be phased out worldwide.

    – The lights are very bright (a good thing!) but are not directional and this, coupled with the strobe effects make wearing it fairly distracting. Even with the strobe effect turned off I found that the brightness of the lights made it more difficult to see the ground in front of me in dark environments. This is admittedly less of an issue when running or jogging, but for dog walking I frequently need to keep a close eye on the ground to make sure that my pup isn’t about to eat some random thing he finds in the street.

    – Front and back lights are fully separate circuits/devices that require charging individually.

    All in all, this meets my needs, definitely does increase safety and dark environments, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one. I just wish they’d update the charging format and maybe put a little hood or lip above the lights on the front of the vest.
