Very pleasantly surprised with these. I have a smaller waist and bigger hips/thighs and these fit brilliantly! Small downside; slightly cut into your thighs as have small seam but not noticeable and certainly not restrictive/uncomfy. Not see-through at all, give nice support and hold without being tight – would recommend. Go with your normal size I would say.

Not as flattering as other brands but great for practical cycling gear. Material very durable and useful pockets in both sides and a key pocket. Ideal for cycling or running outdoors.

Exactly what I was looking for. I’m 5’8, 120 lbs wearing size M. The material is nice and stretchy, comfortable, perfect length, has deep enough pockets on both sides to fit your phone perfectly. Will probably get these in multiple colours!

I have a few of these from prior year(s) where they were mid-rise and I don’t mind high-rise although I also don’t find these high-rise shorts to rise much higher than the mid-rise. I love the pockets on both sides but the one on the waistband has gotten thicker since the prior versions so you can see it a bit on your tummy which I don’t love. My weight has fluctuated a little the past few years but these shorts always fit great and look flattering. Personally I do not like the materials used for any of the colors or patterns except the light grey and charcoal grey. Those are like stretchy cotton blend which is comfortable for lounging and working out. The material for the other colors is a cold, shiny, bathing suit-like material that feels gross and shows spots once I start sweating. On one hand I think they’re a little over priced at $20 but on the other they fit great, they’ve held up well (washing warm gentle and air drying flat on rack) and I did come back for more… It would be AWESOME if they could make other colors in the fabric/material used for the charcoal and light grey!!

Bought these to go under casual, daily-wear dresses (at 51 I’m just sick of wearing jeans every day!) so I can do housework and walk the dog and such and not worry about being totally “ladylike.” BUT, they are SO comfortable and cute, I’m wearing them under a tunic length top and feeling fabulous wishing I had somewhere to go, LOL! Husband gave two big thumbs up, too! Glad I got another color coming.
Those who said to size up were right for me, thank you. My waist is 23″, hip 34″ so an XS should have worked, but the S is perfect. No sagging or gaping, just total comfort and chic style. Almost makes me want to do yoga!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the two side pockets. My phone fits perfectly (iPhone SE) as do my keys and/or credit card, license, etc. Ingenious design.
Fabric is substantial (not flimsy or see-through at all), great feel.

I got the smallest size that says it fits 25″ – 30″. So I have to assume it would be tight like many reviews say, but since my waist is 23″ it fits perfectly.)
ETA: Got the coral pair today and noticed the waistband pocket! Took a photo looking down into the pocket I’m holding open with my fingers. LOVE the color and the fit is exactly the same as the black.

I got these shorts as an alternative to a more expensive brand that I really like. The fabric is pretty thin, and the pockets are useful. These shorts are a little bit too light in weight for me, but I did wear them during the summertime and they were pretty comfortable, I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a less expensive alternative to some of the other shorts that are available for running

These shorts fit really well, the fabric and construction seems to be a good quality. Nice compression, not too tight. They went straight into the washer and I had to wash my hands after opening them, though. They had an incredibly strong sour smell that made me gag. I’ve ordered quite a few workout clothes from Amazon over the years, and yeah a lot of the items have a little bit of an odor. Most of the time I need to be holding something up to look it over to notice the weird sour factory smell. These shorts actually just released the odor immediately upon opening the bag. I really just can’t stress enough how strong the weird smell was. Strong and unpleasant enough for me to not ever want to buy things from this brand again unless I buy secondhand.

I’m updating my review because the seller completely fixed my problem, but I still think I should mention briefly that I originally purchased the CHARCOAL and they were not what I expected (although they may be what some people are looking for so I left the original review down below). However, I now have the BLACK shorts and they are everything I wanted.
They’re the spandex-y, tight kind that I wear for running or hiding my pot-belly, but they’re also really lightweight and comfortable. The little pockets are FANTASTIC. Before these shorts I did a lot of weird things to secure my belongings while running (usually to no avail), but now I simply pop in my headphones, slide the iPhone in, and go! They’re like a second skin but with more security 🙂
And also they’re just the right length. I’m too self-conscious to wear short-shorts and fully expose my thighs because they’re covered in scars, but I sweat like a madwoman in the summer so I didn’t want to wear leggings either. These shorts are the perfect in-between: I’m not melting inside them but I can also focus on running without worrying about accusations of exhibitionism.
I’m really glad to have these.
Here’s what I wrote before about CHARCOAL:
So these shorts (I got “Charcoal”) fit extremely well and are really stretchy and soft and comfortable (I got Medium and am a 5/6 in most clothes), but the first thing I noticed when I put them on was how thin they were! I wasn’t expecting it because most of my exercise pants have a little bit of a thicker, shiny fabric, but these are just soft, thin cotton so I had to keep pulling down the crotch to disguise my cameltoe D-:
Another thing: Because these are so soft and thin, the “tummy control” feature doesn’t really hold in the little pot-belly I’ve gotten over the past year (I gained FORTY pounds from medication side-effects and am newly self-conscious). I thought the fabric would compress my thighs and my belly but it doesn’t.
I’m also concerned that sweat will become visible during an intense workout. It’s a dark-grey fabric, but I went out in the rain for a minute and there were black spots where the pants got rained on.
The bottom line is, these are thin, soft, stretchy shorts with nice little pockets on the side (perfect size for my iPhone which doesn’t slip out), but they don’t do the job when it comes to compression (I wish I got the black ones instead of charcoal. From the information I’ve read it seems like they are more of the type of fabric I was expecting) and they are unfavorably revealing–I mean I wanted my butt and my belly to look tight and hard in these pants but instead I just feel naked with a layer of cotton cradling my bottom half.

I wore these for the first time today for a run. I love them and will be buying more. They are soft, high waisted and most of all they DID NOT slide down or roll on my tummy during the run! I bought the 8″ and they did not ride up at all. There is a pocket on each side, not super deep but my iPhone 14 didn’t move the entire run. It was great to do a run and not even remember that I was wearing shorts!

I use these for cycling, running and sometimes just wearing underneath a dress or skirt. Good quality and good value for money. Would definitely recommend! They fit as expected super happy with my purchase.
