I like wearing this style shoe. However, this particular color was a little narrow in the toe and foot area but there’s no bother to my feet. I use these shoes as my dress shoes that’s what I bought them for. I do get several comments on how nice they look, which I believe they look nice too.

I am very picky with my shoes and always have had trouble finding a pair that was even kind of ok out of the box. Until now. These brooks shoes fit perfectly and were so comfortable right out of the box. That had never ever happened to me. I cannot stand my old tennis shoes any longer and that particular brand I have been wearing for the last 10 years.
I’m bought an 8 wide (I like to have room in my shoes) and they are absolutely magical. If you have been looking for the perfect shoe, pay the higher price and treat yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Promise.

I tend to be an Altra shoe gal. I still use Altras for the treadmill and have a pair of trail shoes. Was having some hip pain so decided to mix it up with these Brooks that have a really high heel drop compared to my Altras that are zero. I use these for walking…I am not a runner. It has definitely helped with my hip pain. It’s not completely gone but better. I have heard that higher heel drop shoes cause more knee pain. I have not found that to be the case with these and I have knee problems (surgery on one). The color is also excellent. I like the darker color so they don’t get dirty as fast. The mesh fabric has held up so far but I can see myself getting a rip in at at some point. Over all a great shoe.

These are the most comfortable sneakers I have owned. With support in all the right places from padding at the back of the heel to a fortified toe, they feel great. I only found two things that I was not expecting but it does not change my opinion of the shoe. First the laces are shorter than I was used to so I have had to tighten up my tie game. Second the listing only showed one shoe so I assumed they were printed the same but they are definitely two different colors when looking from the top. In the end I kind of like them this way so it didn’t bother me but if your brain likes symmetry you might not enjoy this print (see photo). Would absolutely purchase again!

Our podiatrist, ten years ago, said this is one of the best supportive walking shoes. He is so right. After buying that first pair, I never bought any other brand. My knees were bone on bone so walking was difficult. This helped so much. Of course Brooks cannot fix bone on bone, but it can make walking a little bit better. Also these shoes are great for giving you a good steady and safe walk. At 70, falls are always a worry for me. So I give kudos for the great non slip soles and support Brooks has in abundance.
Last thing I want to say is that I bought a pair for my sister this year for her birthday. It is her first pair of Brooks and I know from all the thank you’s I have gotten from her – she has never worn any other tennis shoe that has come close to the Brooks. Her first comment was that as soon as she put them on – they were so comfortable. She said “there is no breaking them in!” She is right, each new pair is like putting on your most comfortable house shoes. Never any break in time with Brooks. This years Brooks – for the first time- were a little too short on their shoe laces. So I had to buy new laces for the first time over all of the years. Not a big deal at all. My sister’s were not too short for her. My feet swell sometimes so this explains it.

These are the most wonderful shoes I’ve ever owned! True to size. I have Achilles tendonitis and these shoes are the only things that make me feel like I can walk. My feet feel so supported that I can actually picture myself exercising just as soon as my foot heals. I think everyone needs to buy these!
